Crazy Iron Crash Bars and PRO Cage for Kawasaki Z750 (2005–2006)
Crazy Iron offers custom crash protection for a wide range of motorcycles, including less common models. One example is the Kawasaki Z750 (2005–2006). In this case, a customer got their 2006 Z750 to our workshop for a custom solution. We developed both compact crash bars and a full crash cage (PRO series) for this model.
Crash Bar Development Process
To create crash bars for the Kawasaki Z750, we followed a detailed, step-by-step process:
Identified appropriate mounting points
Installed custom-made brackets, plates, tubes, and spacers
Connected elements with precision-bent tubing
Evaluated rider comfort and verified that lean angle was preserved
Created a prototype and tested its strengths and weaknesses
Finalized the design, welded the parts, painted them, and completed installation
The crash bars were powder-coated in bright green per the customer’s request. The final result is a compact, functional, and visually striking protection system.
PRO Crash Cage for Kawasaki Z750
While we usually specialize in crash cages, the Kawasaki Z750 presented unique challenges in terms of mounting point complexity. For this reason, a PRO crash cage for this model had not been available before. However, once the bike was in our workshop, we designed and manufactured a complete cage for it.
Crash cages differ from crash bars by having:
Two main mounting points
A third connection point linked by a brace to the opposite side
Increased rigidity for better protection during impacts or stunts
For the Kawasaki Z750, we used custom bracket plates and slightly rotated one of the sliders to ensure proper alignment and functionality.

Two sliders per side
Built from 32 mm steel tubing
Reinforced for high-impact protection and stunt riding
Finished in matte grey for demonstration purposes
Also available in black or custom powder-coated colors
Crash Bars Features:
